Marijan Hanžeković, the founder and managing partner of the Law Firm Hanžeković & Partners Ltd., has extensive experience in structuring, negotiating and implementing M&A transactions and project financing, takeovers and corporate governance.

Marijan Hanžeković started his private practice in 1978, and in 1986 he established the partnership with attorney at law Milan Radaković. In 1994 he founded the Law Firm Hanžeković, Radaković & Partners, the first law firm to be registered in Croatia.

From the very beginning of his practice, he has been an active member of the Croatian Bar Association in which he has held various functions. Marijan Hanžeković was President of the Croatian Bar Association from 1994 to 2000 and is now a Member of the Management and Executive Board of the Croatian Bar Association.

Attorney Hanžeković is an Arbiter at the Permanent Court of Arbitration of the Chamber of Commerce of Slovenia, of the European Court of Arbitration in Strasbourg and the International Chamber of Commerce in Paris (ICC).

He was a Member of the Legislative Board of the Croatian Parliament, and as member of the Commission of the Ministry of Justice he participated in the preparation of numerous laws and in the introduction of free legal aid.

Irina Jelčić's legal practice focuses on mergers & acquisitions, takeover bids, commercial and corporate transactions, capital market transactions, IPOs as well as on a wide range of lending and energy related transactions. Irina Jelčić has provided legal advice in a number of high profile cases, including the acquisition of the two largest banks in Croatia.
